Science Practicals for 10th Standard Students

Bajaj Science Centre has decided to provide the opportunity to few of 10th standard students to do all science practical’s from their curriculum in vacation as every year.

Camp Schedule : 4th – 15th June 2018 (10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.)

Venue : Bajaj Science Centre, Civil Lines, Wardha - 442001

Eligibility : First come first serve (only for 10th std.)

Registration Fee : Rs. 810/- (Through Cheque)

Regular Practical batch: (From 7th standard onwards)

In this programme, students of different schools of 7th std. are selected through entrance test and continue their education till 10th std. Center conducts entrance exam in the month of March every year whose notification is communicated to all schools in the region and also highlighted on the website. After selection, students used to come once a week for two hours and work in six different laboratories (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Electronics and Computer) on rotation basis for the academic session which starts in the mid of June and ends by March of next year. Center has set a quota for maximum number of students from a particular school so as to explore the facilities to each and every school in the region. There is no other special quota for the admission.

Admission : Admission through entrance examination of Bajaj science centre conducted in the month of March.

Eligibility :6 th and 7th std. appeared students

Entry : Through school only

Duration : Mid of June to 31st March

Content : Curriculum as well as beyond curriculum experiment in physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, electronics and computer

Selection : Quota given to each school.

Scholar Batch: (From 5th Standard Onwards)

In this programme, students of different schools are selected through entrance test and can continue their education in the center till 10th std. Center conducts entrance exam in the month of March every year whose notification is communicated to all schools in the region and also highlighted on the website. Students are selected on the merit basis. There is no other special quota for the admission. Students are exposed to the theory sessions and some special demonstration sessions twice a week for two hours till 6th standard. From 7th standard, students are admitted directly to our regular batch without entrance exam and they get special attention different national competitive exams. Session starts in the month of June and ends in the month of March.

Selection : According to merit list.

Short term Summer Programme: (For 10th standard)

We used to conduct the 10 days crash course of science and mathematics practical for 10th class students in the month of April and June whose admission criteria is on first come first serve basis.

Eligibility : 9th std. appeared students.

Admission : First come first serve.

Special Summer Workshops: (5th to 9th standard)

Workshops are conducted in the month of May to develop curiosity among the students about science and mathematics.

Admission : First come first serve.

Duration : 5 days (3 hr /day)

Eligibility : 5th to 9th standard students.

Mathematics Workshop:

Bajaj science centre conduct mathematics workshop for preparation of National Mathematics Talent Competition, workshop is conducted in the month of April.

Eligibility : 6th to 9th standard students.

Admission : First come first serve.

Examination for Dr.Homi Bhabha young scientist exam:

Bajaj science centre giving practical exposer to 6th and 9th standard students

Admission : first level selected students of Dr.Homi Bhabha Balvaigyanic Competition. (HBBVC)

Duration : After declaration of first level result of HBBVC.

Special Visits/Training Programme

Centre also entertains the special two days visit and give some training to school students who are not the part of the center.

Science and Mathematics quiz:

To celebrate science and mathematics day and to develop scientific knowledge towards science and mathematics. Bajaj Science centre conduct science and mathematics quiz for the students of science centre.

Project presentation:

Each subject teacher selected group of students and gave them topic for project .

The main aim of this program is

  1. To make students sensitive towards environment.
  2. To learn scientific principles from day to day life.
  3. to developed analytical skill through observation and conducting experiments.
  4. Development of team ability.
